Terms

Terms of use, in plain words

The rules for using Shaadiwaale. Read them with our privacy summary, which explains what we do with your details.

Draft. These terms describe how Shaadiwaale works today and are being reviewed by our lawyer. The final version will replace this page.

1. About these terms

Shaadiwaale is owned and run by Vaikunth Enterprises, Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai (opening soon) (“we” and “us”). These terms apply to everyone who uses the website. By using it, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Shaadiwaale.

2. Using Shaadiwaale and your account

You need to be 18 or older to make an account. We log you in with a link (and later a code) sent to your email, so keep your email account safe: anyone who can open it can log in as you.

Give true details when you send us a form, make a registry or list a business.

3. Venues, vendors and prices

Listings show prices and details given to us by each business. For venues without a full listing, they show the starting prices, capacity, rules and other details our team gathered, with the month we checked them, and facts from public sources such as the street address; anything we do not have says “On request”. For vendors without a full listing, they show the name, the kind of vendor, the city and the street from our team’s research, and prices, packages and dates are on request through our team.

Prices on Shaadiwaale are a guide. The final price, what it includes, the advance and the cancellation terms are agreed between you and the business, and the booking is between you and them. We are not a party to it unless we say so in writing. Read the contract before you pay an advance; our guide to vendor contracts, advances and cancellations lists what to look for.

Reviews on venue and vendor pages are written by logged-in people in their own words, or given to our team by couples with their permission, and shown with the names the writer chose. They are the writer’s opinion, not ours. Write only about your own experience with that business; we may hide or remove a review that is not genuine, is about another business, or breaks these terms, and we never copy reviews or ratings from other sites.

4. If you list a business

Keep your listing true and up to date: prices, what they include, your photos and the dates you are booked. Changes you save appear on Shaadiwaale straight away. We may edit, hide or remove anything that is wrong or breaks these terms, and we keep a history of changes so we can undo mistakes.

Use the details in couples’ enquiries only to reply to them about their wedding. Do not add them to marketing lists or share them. Listing costs ₹99.

5. Concierge

Our planners suggest venues and vendors, arrange visits and help you talk to them. The decisions and the contracts are yours. Concierge fees start at ₹20 lakh, and your planner quotes for each wedding.

6. Planning tools

The guest list, budget, checklist and vendor tools help you organise your wedding. Check dates, amounts and tasks yourself: the starter checklist and the tradition suggestions are general guidance, and every family does things its own way.

When you add guests’ names and phone numbers, add only what you need for the wedding, and only people who would be happy for you to keep them. Only you can see your plan.

7. Invitations

You can make invitations for your own wedding and share them, including the images and PDF you download. Use only photos you took or have permission to use, and the same for any paper or background picture you upload (artwork you made, bought or have permission to use). If you add music to your invitation website, you confirm that you have the right to use that recording (for example, your own recording or music with a licence that allows it);Shaadiwaale does not supply music and will remove a clip on a rights-holder's request. Invitations are sent from your own WhatsApp: Shaadiwaale does not send messages for you.

When you publish your invitation link, each invited family's name and functions are saved with their personal link. Add only families who would be happy to receive your invitation, and pause the link when you no longer need it. The designs and drawings belong to Shaadiwaale; you may use them for your own wedding.

Payment for the invitation link. Designing an invitation is free. Opening its link to guests costs the price shown in the studio at the time (₹99 on 21 October 2026), paid once through Razorpay, our payment gateway; we do not see or keep your card or UPI details. If you pay while logged in, the payment unlocks the invitation on your account for as long as Shaadiwaale runs the service: you may change it, pause it, change its words and share it again at no further charge. If you pay without an account, the link is tied to the browser you paid in; the same link is yours for as long as that browser keeps it, and a new browser needs a new payment, unless you log in first, in which case the link and payment move to your account. No refunds: the invitation link is a digital product that is made and delivered the moment your payment goes through, so payments cannot be cancelled or refunded once made. If a link could not be made after you paid, write to our team with the payment id from Razorpay and we will put it right. We may change the price for new payments at any time; a payment already made is not affected.

8. Shagun registry

No money moves through Shaadiwaale. A promise on a registry is a guest’s kind intention, not a payment or a contract: guests give gifts and amounts directly to the couple.

Couples are responsible for what they list and for removing promises that are not from real guests. A registry may only be used for the couple’s own wedding.

9. Inspiration photos

Photos on Shaadiwaale belong to the people who took them. You may save them to boards for planning your own wedding. Do not download, copy or reuse them anywhere else without the owner’s permission. If a photo is yours, tap “Is this your photo? Ask us to credit or remove it.” on the photo, or write to us, and we will add your name or take it off.

10. What you send us

If you send us photos, text or details about a business, you confirm that you own them or have permission to share them, and you allow us to show them on Shaadiwaale to describe that business. You can ask us to remove them at any time.

11. Things that are not allowed

  • Copying listings, prices or photos in bulk, including with automated tools.
  • Fake listings, fake reviews, or registry promises from people who are not guests.
  • Spam, harassment, or anything unlawful.
  • Trying to get into accounts or parts of the site that are not yours, or to disrupt the site.

12. If something goes wrong

Shaadiwaale is new, and some information on it may be out of date or wrong. Tell us and we will fix it. We may change or pause parts of the site as it grows.

What we are and are not responsible for will be set out here once our lawyer has reviewed these terms.

13. Ending your account

You can ask us to delete your account at any time from the contact page. We may suspend or remove accounts, registries and listings that break these terms.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Shaadiwaale grows. When we make an important change, we will say so on this page.

15. Grievance officer

Our grievance officer, who handles complaints about content on Shaadiwaale and about how we handle your details, will be named here once our lawyer has reviewed these terms. Until then, send any complaint to our team through the contact page and we will look into it.

16. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
