Four vows from every vendor
- i.
A real, checked business
ID, address and past work verified before the listing goes live.
It means the business you message is real, and is who it says it is, before you share your dates or pay anything.
- ii.
A starting price, always
Every listing shows where pricing starts, so there is no “call for price”.
Listings also say what that starting price covers. Your final price depends on your date, guest count and choices, and is agreed with the vendor.
- iii.
A reply within two days
Vendors who go quiet lose their place in search results.
Even when the answer is that they are booked on your date, you hear back, so you can move on to the next vendor quickly.
- iv.
Honest reviews only
Reviews are written by couples and guests in their own words, with their names, and our team takes down any that are not genuine. We never copy reviews or ratings from other sites.
Vendors also show only their own work in their galleries, so what you see is what they deliver.
Tell us
Send us the vendor’s name and what happened. We step in, and we take repeat offenders off the site.
Your booking itself
The price, what is included, the advance and the cancellation terms are agreed between you and the vendor. Get them in writing before you pay anything; our guide to vendor contracts, advances and cancellations shows what to look for. Venues and vendors our team researched, who have not joined Shaadiwaale yet, have not made this promise.
How the Shaadiwaale team checks businesses and handles complaints will be set out here soon. Until then, tell our team about any problem with a business and we will look into it.
Run a wedding business? Make the promise too.
