Our team checked per plate prices, capacity and rules at 1,618 wedding venues across 14 cities in October 2026. The typical veg plate (the median of the venues that gave a price) is ₹650 across India, from ₹450 in Hyderabad to ₹1,500 in Delhi NCR. Every figure below comes from those venues' own pages on Shaadiwaale; tap a city to see them.

How to read these figures
- Prices are each venue's starting price per plate, before GST, as the venue told our team in October 2026. Prices change, so our team confirms them with the venue before you book.
- "Typical" is the median: half the venues in that row charge less, half charge more. "From" and "Up to" are the lowest and highest starting prices in the row.
- "Venues checked" counts venues that gave a veg price; 18 venues on the site still say "On request" and are left out of the figures.
- The non-veg figure leaves out pure veg kitchens. "Largest space" is standing capacity where the venue gave it, else seated.
- The caterer and alcohol shares count only venues that answered the question, and show only where five or more did.
